Today, LAVA has launched the successor to last year’s Xtron tablet, and this one is aptly called ‘E-Tab XTRON+’. The company claims it’s the first tablet to be running on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 which is the latest version of the operating system. The tablet is available at a discount price of Rs. 6,990 from e-commerce websites like Infibeam and flipkart.
It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM. There’s 8GB internal memory, that is expandable up to 32GB. The tablet features a 7-inch TN display (1024 x 600p resolution) combined with dual cameras (Front 0.3 MP and Rear 2.0 MP). It also offers a great add-on of video output for Full 1080p HD video with HDMI v1.4 port. Other connectivity features like 3G via dongle, Wi-Fi and micro-USB are included. The Xtrron+ will come pre-bundled with content from Edukart.com, Meritnation.com and BIGFlix.
