Make Free International Calls using Reliance iCall

icall Recently Reliance launched its VoIP service – Reliance iCall to provide cheap international calling facility.  As per sources, iCall is said to provide VoIP services (Voice Over Internet Protocol) for long distance calling at the cheapest rates as compared to any other VoIP service providers.

As a promotional offer, Reliance is providing free calling facility using its iCall tool till 15th of this month (January 2009). But remember that free international calling facility is available for making calls only to USA, UK, Canada, Germany, China, France, Australia, Singapore, Japan & Brazil. To start using this service, you just need to download Reliance iCall client and register yourself with them.

So, if you too have some one living in the above listed countries, then all I would say is don’t miss this golden opportunity and try out the service. The voice quality is too good provided you have a good Internet connection (atleast 128 KBPS). Hope you would enjoy this free service too. If you know any such similar services do let us know via comments. :-)

Reliance icall has always taken care of such problems quickly. i had a similar problem with my mac book. I was unable to use this service with mac os but soon they released a mac version of their software and am able to use it now. Just mail your query on their feedback page. They respond pretty quickly.

I ordered relianceicall service two months ago to call India. To date (mid February) I have been unable to make a single call. No matter what number I try to call in India, I get a message: This call is blocked.

At first, customer service ignored my pleas for help. When I threatened to report them to the FCC, they responded saying they are looking into the problem. No luck so far.

I have been trying to finish off my credit calling the UK and US. These calls work, but connection quality is poor (echoes, call drops, etc.). In the meantime I have tried two other services – Mywebcalls.com and nymgo.com – both excellent. Give reliance a miss.
