Windows Market place, acting as a bridge between its application developers and its users has now started receiving applications from developers across all 29 supported companies.
For those who are not aware about what Windows Market place is, it will be a virtual store by Microsoft containing all Windows mobile supported applications, games and other related stuff and you can assume it to be similar Apple’s app store or the Nokia’s OVI store.
Here is what the windows team has to say about Windows Market place:
We are now accepting application submissions from all 29 supported countries and have launched a Race to Market Challenge to kick things off. Registered developers and ISVs can now upload their application, game or widget to the Windows Marketplace platform and we’ll begin certifying those apps according to the process, policies and guidelines we’ve published. We certify apps on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis.
