Honor 9X was confirmed for launch earlier as we reported. Recently the phone’s official teaser was released. The phone in all its glory features a triple rear camera and a shiny gradient look on the back. The device is all set to launch on July 23 in X’ian China. The company is also expected to launch a pro version of the Honor 9X alongside. The teaser features the Honor 9X pro as it is expected that the Honor 9X sports a dual rear camera setup whereas the Honor 9X would only have a dual rear camera module.
As per a listing from TENNA (Chinese regulatory agency) which shows three variants of the Honor 9X, HLK-TL00, HLK-AL00, and HLK-AL10.
Honor 9X Specifications
The actual specs of the Honor 9X have been listed on TENAA. The listing confirms the phone to have a 6.59-inch IPS display having1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Inside the phone will have the latest Kirin 810 chipset on octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz. The phone by default would have three variants 4GB/6GB/8GB coupled with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage. The phone will be powered by Android 9 Pie with EMU1 9.1 on top.
Optics wise the 9X would equip a dual rear camera module consisting of 48 megapixels primary and 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, it would have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone shall draw power from 3900 mAh battery.
Honor 9X Pro Specifications
There is no mention about the specs anywhere as of now. But the phone has been teased officially which features a triple rear camera module and a shiny gradient back without a rear fingerprint sensor. This is a clear indication that the phone will have a display fingerprint sensor.
The display on the phone remains the same as on the Honor 9X with exactly the same resolutions. The device is expected to have a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. Honor 9X pro will also have Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 on top. Further details of the phone will be revealed as soon as the phone debuts on July 23.
Honor has also launched the Honor Play 8 in China with Helio A22 chipset and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
