Now that the Realme X and the Realme 3i have been launched in India. Sources are suggesting that the company is already working on Realme 5 which would be the successor to Realme 3. As per sources, the company might skip Realme 4 as it believed that Chinese does not consider number 4 as lucky. The same has been seen with OnePlus where they had skipped OnePlus 4 and directly launched the OnePlus 5 into the market.
As reported by 91mobiles, during the recent launch event of Realme X and the Realme 3i, an anonymous Realme executive spill the beans where the company is working on Realme 5. The executive also denied the rumors of the Realme 4 launch. The Realme 5 would be more of a high-end smartphone, better in all terms than the Realme X.
The company might launch the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro. Pricing of the vanilla Realme 5 would be at par or slightly higher than its predecessor whereas the Pro version will be a little more expensive.
