Now that you have unlocked your device’s bootloader and flashed magisk on it. Your device will be open to different types of Magisk modules to enhance the capabilities of your Android Smartphone. Amongst such modules, everyone’s favorite module is YouTuve Vanced. This module is a modded version of the official YouTube app and adds a lot of features which you will never find on the official YouTube app.
Some notable features of YouTube Vanced are built-in adblocking, background playback without YouTube Premium, black/dark themes, and much more. YouTube Vanced also supports force HDR mode for improving video quality with impressive results. It also supports overriding max resolution set by default for your device. Another great feature is the ability to pinch and zoom the videos while playing. The modded version also supports picture in picture mode, secondary themes, swipe controls for volume and brightness, etc.
Now one of the major features that we use is the ability to repeat YouTube videos or playing a video on loop. This feature though is really simple but needs to be enabled to work. The modded version of the YouTube app does not enable this feature by default. So lets us see how to do that.
- Inside the app, click on your profile.
- Now click on “Settings“.
- Inside the settings panel, click on “Auto Play” and disable “Autoplay next video“.
- Now return back to the settings menu, find and click on “Vanced Settings“.
- Inside the “Vanced Settings” menu, click on “Misc“.
- Now simply enable, “Auto Repeat” and “Auto-Repeat – Background Playback“.
Now all the videos that you play on this modded version of YouTube will be repeated continuously. If you need to disable this kindly disable “Auto Repeat” and “Auto-Repeat – Background Playback“.in step 6. And enable “Autoplay next video” in step 3. The videos will resume and shall play the next video in the queue.
